You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 AM and embark on a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive in the park before heading to Marera View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is located 115 km from Arusha and covers an area of 2,800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, where many wild animals gather to drink. Key attractions include large elephant populations, tree-climbing pythons, and majestic baobab trees. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to spot lions, leopards, and various other wildlife.

After waking up this morning, you’ll enjoy a full breakfast, pack your luggage into the safari jeep, and begin an en-route game drive to Serengeti, with lunch inside the jeep.

Along the way, you’ll witness stunning views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in Serengeti around 3:00 PM. In the evening, you’ll go on a game drive in central Serengeti, where you can take in the beautiful sunset. Afterward, you’ll have dinner and stay overnight at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge, located within the park.

The main attractions of Serengeti include its vast, endless plains and the renowned Great Wildebeest Migration, which involves over 1.5 million herbivores and their predators moving across the park in search of water due to drought. Our driver-guide will ensure you witness part of this incredible migration. Along with wildebeest, you’ll see large herds of zebras and smaller groups of Grant’s gazelles, Thomson’s gazelles, elands, and impalas.”

On this day, you’ll wake up early for a full breakfast, then head out for a full-day game drive in Serengeti. Our driver will guide you to the key areas of the park, ensuring you make the most of your time in this wildlife-rich region.

We will track the wildebeest migration based on their current location during your tour with us. The Great Migration varies each year, but the best chance to witness it is between June and September. The wildebeest calving season takes place from January to March. From July to September, our driver will take you to northern Serengeti, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the spectacular wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River.

Throughout the year, over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with large numbers of zebras and smaller herds of gazelles, follow the rains in search of fresh grazing land and water sources. After your full-day game drive, you will return to your accommodation at Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will wake up at 5:45 AM for an early breakfast and enjoy the sunrise in Serengeti. After breakfast, you’ll go on an early morning game drive until around 11:30 AM. Then, you’ll return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack your belongings into the jeep.

After lunch, you will continue with a game drive in Serengeti while making your way to Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll arrive at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will wake up around 5:30 AM for breakfast, after which you’ll descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see the Big Five, as well as a variety of bird species, including the black rhino that resides in the crater. You’ll enjoy lunch inside the crater, surrounded by nature and with views of large flamingo populations.

After a 6 to 7-hour game drive on the crater floor, you will ascend and return to the campsite to pack your luggage into the jeep, ready for the drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay.”
