Welcome to Toilo Tours and Safaris. By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any reservation or inquiry.
1. Booking and Payment Terms
• All bookings are subject to availability.
• To secure a booking, a non refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before the tour date or on arrival
• Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card, or any other approved payment method.
• Late payment may result in cancellation of the booking without a refund of the deposit
2. Cancellation Policy
• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
• More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus the non refundable deposit.
• 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.
• Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
• Toilo Tours and Safaris reserves the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or
other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund.
3. Travel Documents and Insurance
• Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and required vaccinations.
• Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost baggage, and other unforeseen events is strongly recommended.
4. Itineraries and Changes
• Every effort will be made to follow the confirmed itinerary; however, changes may be necessary due to weather, road conditions, flight delay, government regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Client requested changes may incur additional charges and are subject to availability.
5. Health and Safety
• Travelers must ensure they are physically fit for the booked activities.
• Please inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements before travel.
• Toilo Tours and Safaris is not liable for injuries or medical conditions arising during the tour.
6. Shared Group Safari Agreement
This booking is for a shared group camping safari. Toilo Tours and Safaris partners with other licensed safari operators to guarantee confirmed departures. Clients may travel in a safari vehicle displaying either the Toilo Tours and Safaris or Suricata Safaris branding, depending on the confirmed group allocation. Regardless of the vehicle branding, the itinerary, accommodations, inclusions, and service standards remain exactly as confirmed in your booking.
7. Liability
Toilo Tours and Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and third party service providers. We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, delays, losses, or damages resulting from third party services. While we strive for accuracy, we are not liable for errors or omissions in promotional materials or on our website.
8. Force Majeure
Toilo Tours and Safaris shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, or government restrictions.
9. Complaints and Disputes
Any complaint should be reported immediately to your guide or a Toilo Tours and Safaris representative so it can be resolved promptly. Any unresolved dispute shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania and submitted to the competent courts of Tanzania.
10. Photographs and Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Toilo Tours and Safaris may use photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
